Rigging

We now have a finished 3D asset , modeled and textured. I looks great, but it does not move. To use this model in an animation we must place a virtual skeleton inside it so that we can give it movement. This process is called Rigging. Using Maya we place joints and controllers to so we can move the 3D model. This part of the pipeline process is very technical and involved many steps that need to be planned carefully. A poorly developed rig will be extremely had to animate. So it is very important to make one that will make the animation process a easy.
