Now that we have a story board we can begin filming the live footage. Using the story board as reference we are able to get every scene for the short film in a more organized manner. There is more structure and planning when you have visual references. Instead of filming random shots hoping that they will work later, we know what we need to get for the next part of the project. I want to give a special thanks to NATHAN GARCIA. Without his experience, knowledge and equipment filming would not had been possible.

Once all the footage need is gathered we also take HDRI. An HDRI is a 360 degree photograph. We take these photographs to later help us simulate realistic light for the 3D asset. Having this realistic light helps the CGI blend in with the live footage. It give it a more realistic look. We use special cameras to take the 360 degree photos. In this case we used the Samsung 360.
